Design Services – Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Steph Cook Interiors Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions outline the basis on which we provide our interior design services.

By proceeding with a booking or payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the Terms below.

1. About the Service

We offer a range of interior design services, from initial consultations to full-room and bespoke design packages.

Details of the scope, deliverables, and fees for your specific service will be outlined prior to booking or project commencement and may vary depending on the nature of the project.

2. Scope of Work

The scope of work will be agreed in writing prior to commencement and may include layout planning, concept development, and the specification of furniture, lighting, and finishes.

Any services requested outside of the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

3. Booking, Payment & Project Commencement

Fees are payable as outlined in your proposal or invoice. A deposit may be required to secure your project and schedule.

All payments are non-refundable once work has begun.

4. Changes, Revisions & Client Input

Reasonable revisions may be included within your selected service, as outlined in your proposal.

Additional revisions or significant changes to the agreed brief may incur additional fees.

Timely client feedback and approvals are essential to ensure the project progresses as scheduled. We will not be responsible for delays caused by late client feedback.

5. Procurement & Implementation

We provide design concepts, layouts, and detailed specifications as part of our services.

Clients are responsible for all purchasing, ordering, and installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

While we may recommend suppliers and products, we are not responsible for the performance, availability, lead times, or quality of third-party goods or services.

6. Project Timelines

Any timelines provided are intended as a guide and may be subject to change depending on client response times, supplier lead times, and factors outside of our control.

7. Remote Services & Technical Issues

Where services are delivered remotely, we will take all reasonable care to ensure a smooth experience.

If technical difficulties arise outside of our control (such as internet connectivity or software issues), we will endeavour to resolve them promptly or arrange an alternative time to continue the service.

8. Client Materials & Intellectual Property

Any images, plans, or information you share may be retained securely for internal reference or to inform future design services. We will never share these materials without your consent.

All concepts, drawings, and design materials produced remain the intellectual property of Steph Cook Interiors Ltd and are provided for use on your personal project only.

9. Cancellations & Project Changes

Projects may be paused or rescheduled by mutual agreement.

If a project is paused for an extended period, we reserve the right to review timelines and fees upon resumption.

10. Liability

All design recommendations are made in good faith based on the information provided.

We cannot be held responsible for outcomes relating to third-party services, installation, or deviations from the agreed design.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and forms a binding agreement between you and Steph Cook Interiors Ltd.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled through the English courts.
